Studio Marco Vermeulen is an ambitious design office for architecture, urban design, landscape and research. The office originates from Urban Affairs and is based on a remarkable location alongside the river Maas in the centre of Rotterdam.

The focus of the office lies with the concept phase, where the questions themselves are often the subject of research. We are involved in highly relevant and often new or neglected spatial tasks with a demand for innovative solutions and new typologies.

In the coming period we will be working on several, most large scale business areas amongst which Klavertje 4 Greenport Venlo, Logistics Business Park Moerdijk, the Agro Food Cluster Nieuw Prinsenland and the Sunrise Campus in Venlo. All of these are designed to be selfsufficient in energy and water.
At the same time we are working on a watersport center near Berlin, innovative water retention squares in Rotterdam, and the realization of a fauna passage entirely contructed with treetrunks.
